Embeds a Shopify-hosted or YouTube/Vimeo video as a full section, with autoplay, loop, mute, and overlay controls.
Section settings #
- Color scheme: Choose which color scheme (defined in Theme settings → Colors) this element uses.
- Section width: Choose from: “Page”, “Full”.
- Source: Choose from: “Uploaded”, “External url”, “Image”.
- Shopify-hosted video: Upload a Shopify-hosted video file.
- YouTube or Vimeo URL: Paste a youtube/vimeo video URL.
- Image: Upload or select an image to display.
- Shopify-hosted mobile video: Upload a Shopify-hosted video file.
- youtube or Vimeo mobile video URL: Paste a youtube/vimeo video URL.
- Mobile image: Upload or select an image to display.
- Autoplay: Switch this on to enable autoplay.
- Loop video: Switch this on to enable loop video.
- Muted: Switch this on to enable muted.
- Overlay color scheme: Choose which color scheme (defined in Theme settings → Colors) this element uses.
- Overlay opacity (%): Fine-tune this value with the slider (from 0 to 80).
- Desktop aspect ratio: Choose from: “1:1”, “3:2”, “16:9”, “4:3”, “None”.
- Mobile aspect ratio: Choose from: “1:1”, “2:2.5”, “2:3”, “2:4.5”, “2:5”, “3:2”, “16:9”, “4:3”, “None”.
- Direction: Choose from: “Vertical”, “Horizontal”.
- Desktop content position: Choose from: “Top left”, “Top center”, “Top right”, “Middle left”, “Middle center”, “Middle right”, “Bottom left”, “Bottom center”, “Bottom right”.
- Heading: Enter a longer block of text (one item per line where applicable).
- Heading size: Choose from: “H1”, “H2”, “H3”, “H4”, “H5”, “H6”.
- Text: Enter a longer block of text (one item per line where applicable).
- Text size: Choose from: “H1”, “H2”, “H3”, “H4”, “H5”, “H6”.
- Button label: Enter a short line of text.
- Button link: Link to a page, product, collection, blog post, or external URL.
- Top padding: Fine-tune this value with the slider (from 0 to 100px).
- Bottom padding: Fine-tune this value with the slider (from 0 to 100px).
Theme blocks #
This section accepts any block from the theme’s block library (see the Blocks category in this documentation) — click Add block and choose from the full list.
App blocks #
This section supports Shopify app blocks — install a compatible app and add its block from the Add block menu in the theme editor.
